How to Change Facebook Friends List Privacy Settings
This video is brought to you by Landbase Australia. “The Mail Forwarding Service”
In this video, you’ll learn how to change your Facebook friends list privacy settings.
To do this, open Facebook in your web browser on your computer.
Click on your name at the top of the screen to go to your personal profile page.
The Friends section on your Facebook profile shows all the people that you are friends with.
You can change the privacy settings of who is allowed to see your friends list.
Click Edit Privacy to change the settings.
The first option on the pop up screen is for the Friends List. You can change this privacy to: Public, Friends, Only Me, or Custom.
Public allows any user on Facebook to find your profile, and see your friends list.
Friends allows all of your Facebook friends to see your friends list.
Only Me only allows you to see your friends list.
Custom allows you to type names of users you specifically want to allow or prohibit from seeing your friends list.
Choose a setting that you feel comfortable with.
Remember, your friends control who can see their friendships on their own Timelines. If people can see your friendship on another Timeline, they’ll be able to see it in News Feed, search and other places on Facebook.
When you’re finished click Done.
Changing the privacy settings of your friends list is a good way to keep your personal relationships and acquaintances private on Facebook.
