How to Record Voice Memos on iPhone
In this video, you’ll learn how to record an iPhone voice memo.

Voice memos are a quick and easy way to record some notes. It’s also a great recording feature for podcasting or other audio projects.
To record a voice memo open your Voice Memos app.
To begin recording press the big red button. Press stop to stop the recording. If you press the record button again, you will continue recording where you stopped the file.
Press play to preplay the recording. If you can’t hear the recording press the volume button in the top right of the screen until it turns blue.
If you need to re-record over a specific section of the file, drag the file to the specific point and press the record button to record over the original file. You’ll notice the file turns red in that section.
You can also trim the file by pressing the square icon. You can drag the two red bars and press Trim to trim the clip.
When you’re finished press Done.
Name the recording and press save. You can now share, edit, or delete the recording as needed.
